NYNET marks Sycamore’s Smart Park status
September 23rd, 2011
NYNET has awarded a plaque to Sycamore Business Park in recognition of its Smart Park status.
The Smart Park project, which was supported by NYNET, encouraged rural business parks to make high-speed broadband connectivity available to its tenants. By doing so, businesses can embrace its communication and productivity benefits. These benefits, which include cloud computing and VoIP telephony, had previously only been possible in major town and cities.
Sycamore Business Park is only one of four business parks in North Yorkshire to have successfully bid to become a Smart Park.
Julie Burton of NYNET presented the plaque to the site’s owner, Colin Stamp.
